How to upgrade the outdoor LED display?
Upgrading and renovating the old screen will face a new choice, the quality of the LED display, the reputation of the manufacturer, the service quality of the manufacturer and the case of the manufacturer. The case is mainly to see the maturity of the outdoor HD screen made by this manufacturer. If there is no mature case, no one is willing to be the first person to eat crab. After all, what kind of problems and troubles the old screen once brought to them is clear in their hearts.

The specifications of the LED display used in the past ten years are relatively regular. The outdoor LED display with high frequency of purchase is nothing more than P16 and P10. The frequency of other P12, P14, P20 and so on purchases is very low. In addition to the large-scale use of the P20, P25 and even larger spacing on the top of the high-rise building, the top of the high-rise building is almost for a long distance to watch, and switching to HD is also a waste, except for local tyrants.

1, model (ie point spacing, P)
The old screen used to say is not what type of model you want to change. Usually, our LED display model has determined the main dimensions of the steel structure, and the steel structure can hardly be modified. The risk of the overall safety of the display is incalculable. In other words, the meaning is that the steel structure determines which type of HD LED display we want to upgrade to.
When designing steel structures, manufacturers generally determine the size of the fixed box according to the lateral spacing of the display screen. For example, if the display of the P16 is used, the length (width) of the module is 256 mm, and the length (width) of the cabinet design is 768 mm or 1024 mm. The result is that the square spacing of the fixed box is 768 mm or 1024 mm.
Then the corresponding P8 and P4 modules, the general manufacturer design module size horizontal length (width) is 256mm, just corresponding to the size of the P16 module, then the design of the box size can be the same. Similarly, the fixed square spacing on the steel structure also corresponds exactly. In terms of density, the P8 specification has quadrupled the density per square meter, or 15625 points. The P4 specification has increased the density per square meter by a factor of sixteen, or 62,500 points.
If it is a large screen of P16 with a size of about 8 meters X 5 meters and 40 square meters, in the case of computer resolution 1024X768, the window only accounts for a quarter of the display. After replacing it with P8, it is basically displayed in full screen.
Let's take a look at the display of the P10. The length (width) of the module is 320mm or 160mm. The length (width) of the cabinet design is 960mm. The result is that the square spacing of the fixed box is 960mm.
Then the corresponding P5 module, the general manufacturer design module size horizontal length (width) is 160mm, just corresponding to the size of the P10 module, then the designed box size and the fixed square spacing on the steel structure just correspond . In terms of density, the P5 specification has quadrupled the density per square meter, or 40,000 points/.
If it is a P10 LED large screen of about 5 meters x 3 meters, 15 square meters, in the case of computer resolution 1024X768, the window only accounts for a quarter of the display, after switching to P5, basically full screen display.
2, use electricity
Upgrade the P16's LED display to the P8's display, and the power consumption is almost the same. In the past, the maximum power consumption of the static P16 display was about 800W/, and the maximum power consumption of the P8 display of the 4-sweep is about 750W/. If the energy-saving scheme is used, the power consumption will be about 20% lower, but the main electrical box must be replaced as a whole, because the electrical equipment such as the air switch and the AC contactor also has the number of uses and life, and cannot be lost due to small size. If you upgrade to a P4 LED display, the maximum power consumption is nearly double that of the P16, and the power consumption is about 1400W/. If the power consumption scheme is used, the power consumption will be about 20% lower, then the original main cable should be replaced, and the transformer with small capacity needs to be increased.
And to upgrade the P10's LED display to the P5 display, the P5's maximum power consumption is twice as large as the P16. Similarly, if the power consumption scheme is used, the power consumption will be about 20% lower, then the original main cable should be completely replaced, and the transformer with small capacity needs to be increased.
3. System and signal transmission part
If the original system is used to it, you can use the original system and switch to another system and re-adapt and learn. The system itself has no effect on the display upgrade, but if the resolution of the LED display exceeds 1920X1080, whether it is the horizontal width or the vertical height, the video splicing processor must be added to splicing and use, and the general manufacturer will propose a corresponding solution.
